WHAT is it?

The ideas are simple. It is you putting down on paper how you would organize yourself within the first 90 days of employment to hit the ground running. Present a 30-60-90 day attack plan in the interview.

WHY is it a good reason to use a 30-60-90 Interview Plan for an interview?

It’s a good reason to use these because the top 1-2 candidates in the interview usually bring them into the interview with them. This shows the interviewer that you are extremely focused on this position. You know what you want and you know how to get there. You have come prepared with a Road Map that shows you and them the way of getting yourself organized for the challenges ahead.

You are not writing a Business Plan on the Company or how you would change things to improve what they are doing. “That would be foolish”. You are doing a Business Plan for the interview to show them that you are organized with what you want to get done and how you will learn the new process with in the first 90 days of employment.

If you do prepare a Business Plan for the interview, revise it for the second, third and/or the final rounds and the other candidates do not, you will more than likely be the TOP candidate based on that alone. This happens because the hiring manager may be riding the fence between you and the other candidate and will be looking for those extra things you did in the interview that set you apart from them. Managers and companies are looking for those candidates who look a little bit more professional in the interview and look like they want the job more than the other candidate. Work for the interview. Don’t just show up with a Resume like everyone else.
